Skydyne has met the need for lightweight yet durable hand portable containers for housing equipment through the use of fiberglass reinforced molded polyester cases. The molded shells, developed by Skydyne, have unique properties that make them particularly suitable for use as transit and operational cases.
One series of fiberglass cases features a built-in internal mounting flange that enables users to easily adapt display or test equipment to transportable field use. The flange can be optionally drilled to users' requirement or users can specify Skydyne's recommended standard hole patterns. Holes come fitted with 10-32 captive, floating nut receptacles. Users can install their own panel or The Skydyne Company can supply a .090" thick aluminum panel meeting any required specifications. The fiberglass construction offers unique properties for equipment protection.
