Food Service
> Carts > Shelf
Shelf Carts are the utility vehicles of food service. Shelf Carts are called upon to transport any number of foods, pans, utensils and trays. These universal usage carts are continually exposed to the roughest of handling; and because of this, most carts sold today have a short life - but not the SkyTran Carts.
Manufactured And Assembled in the U.S.
Features And Benefits
- All carts are built with 304 series (not 400 series) 12 ga. stainless steel angle frame formed into a "U" and welded to 300 series 12 ga. stainless steel channels to form a base and frame. Designed for heavy use and abuse; handles smoothly under full loads over rough surfaces. Resists corrosion better than other grades of stainless steel.
- 18 ga. stainless steel shelves on Normal Duty Series; 14 ga. stainless steel shelves on Heavy Duty Series. All shelves are welded at each corner with 5-1/2" of continuous TIG welding (not spot welding), which assures years of usage in the most adverse of conditions. The shelf remains attached to the frame; no annoying breaking or tearing loose.
- 5" dia. x 1-1/4" wide tread on shelf carts, polyurethane casters (2 swivel, 2 rigid) provide smoother rolling with less vibration; acid and chip-resistant.
