Skydyne is a veteran owned small business specializing in the design and manufacture of custom cases and food service products. From aluminum to fiberglass and composite materials, we can manufacture a case to just about any specification. Working from our 68,000-sq. ft. facility in Port Jervis, NY, we incorporate design, engineering, customer service, manufacturing, quality control and testing to ensure a quality product.
Using fiberglass in a thermoset resin gives the patriot series a high strength to weight ratio. Thermoset resins, as opposed to thermoplastic resins, do not soften with higher temperatures. Processes are used to incorporate molded in features, such as recessed dishes, stiffening ribs, and stacking feet. Pigments are added for molded-in color.
Laminated construction provides a wide variety of strength and impact resistance. Laminates may include aluminum or plastic skins with cores of foam, high impact ABS, plywood, or basswood. Veteran series cases can be manufactured using heavy duty extrusions to meet the most destructive military testing. All configurations and sizes are available without tooling costs.
Formed and welded aluminum construction provides all the benefits of a deep drawn metal case without the tooling costs. Features such as louvers, mounting holes, and stacking patterns can be positioned at any location on the case. Like all Skydyne cases, the Defender series utilizes a welded extruded aluminum tongue and groove edge frame. Manufacturing processes allow for ultimate customization.
The Skydyne ATA+ series cases are not only certified to ATA specification 300 but manufactured above and beyond this specification. Skydyne cases are designed to secure a variety of long barreled weapons and are available in virtually any size. Recessed spring-loaded handles, tension locking clamps, locking hasp and staple, and high-impact steel corners are all standard hardware for the ATA series. Custom foam inserts are available for any Skydyne case and configuration.

Skydyne’s Komodo products provide a way to confidently transport and erect media walls. The Komodo Media Stand has two available configurations, allowing the use of either one/two tv monitors or for an ultra-short throw projector and screen. The monitor configuration of the stand includes an easy-lift system that allows one person to raise the monitor approximately 8 feet in the air. Each stand folds into a convenient carrying bag for transport. Additionally, the Komodo series offers three different monitor cases which are compatible with most 50” to 75” tv monitors. These cases are designed and built to be shipped horizontally (flat) and to withstand up to 3-foot drops without damaging the tv monitor inside. They also include a removable-casters and handle kit which allows one person to transport the case.
