The Skydyne Single Field Desk offers military units a lighter single-tabletop version of the original military Field Desk. This “new and improved” Field Desk is equipped with easily-deployable and adjustable legs, which allow each table to be set up quickly and stand evenly on rugged terrains. Each Skydyne Field Desk includes lightweight, removable, aluminum drawer boxes, and a folding chair.

The Tactical Field Desk – Double (also known as our Komodo Mobile Workstation) is an easily-transportable case that transforms into a work desk. The Skydyne Tactical Desk is a modified version of the original field desk, designed to be a mobile computer workstation. Each double tactical field desk has four deployable computer monitors and an integrated power strip. Additionally, each double desk includes two computer keyboards, two computer mouses, two folding chairs, and three removable drawer boxes. The two folding chairs fit neatly inside each cover/tabletop. The computer accessories can be placed within the middle drawer. And each bottom-most drawer is compatible with hanging file folders.
Packed up as a case for storage or transport, the Skydyne Tactical Field Desk – Double measures 17.75″L x 25″W x 28.5″H. First, unlatch each case cover. Next, remove the folding chairs within each cover. Then, deploy each cover’s adjustable legs and attach that cover to the case body to create a desk. Deploy the monitors from behind the desk by swinging them out of the desk interior and onto the case body exterior. Pivot or rotate each set of monitors over the closest tabletop. Then, separate the monitors from each other so that both screens are facing any user seated at the desk. Finally, open the middle drawer and remove the computer accessories. Fully set up, the unit measures 104″L x 26″W x 45″H.
This Tactical Field Desk can be used in a variety of environments and for many different applications. For instance, Skydyne designed this desk to be used in a tactical operations center (TOC) or within a military vehicle. Skydyne also envisioned the possibility of this desk being used for mobile UAV control centers. Nevertheless, as a mobile workstation, emergency services might also benefit from this product. Being able to quickly transport, set up, and pack up a workstation may be advantageous during certain emergency situations. Additionally, law enforcement and federal agencies may see the benefit of having a mobile command and control center. This Tactical Field Desks allows officers and agents to set up a workstation anywhere in the field.
