The Skydyne Company has given its Field Desk a facelift. Originally, the Skydyne Field Desk had drawer/boxes designed to be lightweight and easily-removable. Each drawer/boxes was not attached to the interior of the case and included formed handles on each side. Using these handles, the user can transport the contents of the desk without moving the desk itself.
Since then, Skydyne has updated these original drawer/boxes. This field desk facelift means each drawer has an OD green finish and new handles. Also, each drawer is mounted on telescoping drawer slides. These drawer slides make it as if the user’s desk has its own filing cabinet, including drawers equipped with hanging file folder compatibility. And while the drawers are now fixed to the drawer slides, each slide has a push tab that allows the user to remove it. All Skydyne Field Desk drawers are still equipped with a handle on each side allowing for it to be carried like a box.
